SALES MANAGER- FOOD INGREDIENTS


Responsibilities:
  • Intensive development and identifying of market potential (market analysis)
  • Developing and maintaining good commercial relationships with existing and new accounts
  • Sourcing the market for up-to-date information regarding products, market trends (e.g. new market applications, market potential) and competition on the market
  • Identifying and developing of new accounts
  • Analyzing customer needs
  • Responsible for strategic sales planning, analysis and forecasting
  • Undertake the responsibility for achieving the marketing and sales targets in terms of quantity and revenue, and also developing the marketing strategy, pricing strategy.
  • Responsibility for achieving the profitability of the division and management targets, and objectives
  • Develop new products in product portfolio and ensure the growth of the division.
  • Establishes sales objectives by forecasting and developing annual sales quotas for regions and territories projecting expected sales volume and profit for existing and new products
  • Implements national sales programs by developing field sales action plans
  • Maintains sales volume, product mix, and selling price by keeping current with supply and demand, changing trends, economic indicators, and competitors
  • Establishes and adjusts selling prices by monitoring costs, competition, and supply and demand
  • Keep good relations and communications with the customers and suppliers

Requirements:
  • Age 30 - 40 years old
  • Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor Degree in Marketing/Business Management. Candidate must have minimum 7 years experience in selling food and beverage ingredients. Proficiency in English is a must, both oral and written. Speaking Mandarin is an advantage
  • Candidate must have highly developed communication skills (oral and written), persuasive, hard worker, assertive, and energetic
  • Preferably specializing and well-versed in the chemicals that are used in the Food Ingredients and Personal Care sector
  • Drive for process and target oriented
  • To acquire and develop new clients in the Food and Personal Care sector
  • Strong network and relationship with the relevant stakeholders in the Food and Personal Care Industry
  • Expected to liaise with the group overseas offices to provide regional solutions to customers
  • Willing to work in BSD area
