Job Purpose:

To give a general description of this role in the Department / Business Unit.

Assume the role of After-sales Service Engineer as primary and Technical Advisor for projects as secondary to Zone 3’s partners and customers.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Ascertain customers’ requirements and suggest/proposed suitable Delta solutions customer need.
  • Perform Start-up, Installation & Commissioning work in accordance to Delta’s SOP in Zone 3. 
  • Perform load/application analysis by hand on measurement or data collection analysis.
  • Assist sale as technical adviser/consultant of product. Help to answer question to customer in any aspect of product technical information or site application
  • Making a technical proposal/solution, project drawing, single-line diagram or other documents relates to the project to customer according to application inquiry.
  • Co-ordinate with Delta’s internal departments and internal and external customer for factory acceptance test, if necessary
  • Co-work with vendor to design battery cabinet or transformer cabinet in addition to fulfill customer requirement.
  • Perform simple repair works off-site and troubleshoot installation issues on-site
  • Handle product connectivity such as SNMP, MODBUS, Servers, Storage, Network Switches etc
  • Create, organize and conduct product training seminars in Zone 3, if needed
  • Manage and maintain proper documentation for all post-sales activities in alignment with Delta global service process and standards

 
Job Requirements:
  • Min Diploma in Electrical Engineering
  • At least 3 years’ MNC experience in Electrical/IT Hardware installation works
  • Well-versed in Power and Electrical equipment deployment works

Preferred Skills/Experience:
  • Highly proficient in Microsoft Office (excel)
  • Bi-lingual in English and Mandarin to liaise with mandarin-speaking associates
  • Adaptable and prior exposure of regional clientele
  • Process driven and excellent communication skills
  • Customer service driven
