ACCOUNTANT MANAGER
Accountant Internal / Accounts Manager
We are seeking the service of a qualified and experienced Accountant for our Companies. Reporting directly to the Managing Director, the successful Applicant must have a Minimum of 5 years' experience in a Management Role; must also demonstrate excellent judgement and decision making skills. It is imperative that you have the ability to pick up new systems easily and have advanced level skills in core Microsoft packages particularly Word and Excel, MYOB is essential

Reporting to the Group Managing Director, you will be responsible for the following:
- Liaising with our external Accountant
- Manage timely collection of debtors and reconcile outstanding balances
- Manage and Supervise Administration Department Team
- Prepare GST/BAS Statements
- Monitoring and supervision of General Ledger accounts and Bank reconciliations
- Month end close and Reporting
- Production of Management Reports as required
- Monitor and analyse monthly operating results against budget
- Analysing and ensuring integrity of P & L, Balance sheets, Accounts Payable/Receivable
To be successful in this role you will have the following skills and attributes:
- You will be responsive, proactive, highly organised and have a strong work ethic
- A minimum 5 years' proven experience in a similar Role performing high quality work
- Strong focus on monitoring adherence to procedures and controls
- Able to implement new procedures/controls
- The ability to manage and motivate Administration staff
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Must demonstrate excellent judgement and decision making skills
- A working understanding of IT systems
