FRONT END DEVELOPER (Indonesian Conversant)
Role description:
Hogarth is offering an excellent opportunity for an established front-end digital developer to join the digital team. The developer will be responsible for supporting the existing set of client’s digital assets as well as establishing new projects for new clients.
The ideal candidate must display excellent written and oral skills with demonstrated interpersonal and organisation abilities. The candidate must be enthusiastic about technology and constantly looking at the next innovation. A candidate for this position must be able to work in fast paced environment. Flexibility and tolerance is a necessity.

Responsibilities (to include but not limited to):
- Develop new digital assets as identified by supervisor and management
- Test all your work acacording to the brief and minimum requirements for each client.
- Develop fast and efficiently to meet tight deadlines.
- Create digital assets in accordance with the requests of the other developers or Project Managers
- Produce digital assets in a number of languages.
- Update and amend existing assets
- Maintain client digital assets to the best of your ability using clean, accessible mark up according to the latest web standards
- Comment your code consistently and cleanly
- Help and advise project managers with client’s digital requests.
- Keep an eye on the latest trends to help boost development efficiency.
Job requirements:
Technical skills
- HTML / HTML5
- CSS / CSS3
- JavaScript / JQuery
- Responsive development experience
- Exposure to Front End Frameworks (Bootstrap, Foundation)
- Version Control through GIT
- Image manipulation software (Photoshop, Fireworks)
- Accessible and SEO based coding
- Clear understanding of Usability
- Proficient in developing to W3C Standards
- Knowledge of the challenges of Email newsletter builds
- Knowledge of Cross Browser problems/fixes
- Progressive enhancement and graceful degradation
Personal skills
- Must be a native Indonesian speaker
- Fluent in English – written and verbal
- At least 2 years commercial development experience within an Agency
- Bachelors degree in computer science, MIS, or related experience
- Be able to display a strong portfolio
- Excellent attention to detail
- Able to work independently and efficiently to meet deadlines
- Able to follow clear instruction
- Self motivated, detail-oriented and organized
- Experience with hardware and software issues
- Proficient in Internet related applications such as E-Mail clients, FTP clients and Web Browsers
