We are currently looking to fill the position of Commissioning Editor at our Jakarta office to service one of our new clients, a market-leading commercial bank.
COMMISSIONING EDITOR
Requirement:
- Work closely with the client to plan magazine content, from shorts to main features to cover features and fashion shoots, etc.
- Strong network of writers and photographers
- Commissioning features and shoots to appropriate writers and photographers
- Reviewing, rewriting and editing the work of commissioned writers
- Must be able to work under high pressure to meet tight deadlines
- Must be able to multitask, oversee many simultaneous ongoing commissions and keep working ahead of schedule
- Experienced in client handling; e.g., managing client expectation, tact and diplomatic in negotiating changes with client
- A methodical working style
- Self-motivated
- Conversant in English and advanced control of Bahasa Indonesia
- Great attention to detail
- Working knowledge of trending issues in business and economics is a strong advantage
- 1-3 years of experience in similar position
