(Senior) Process Development Engineer
Key Responsibilities :
Within the production plant of Datamars (Thailand), the candidate will work in the engineering department.
He/she will perform & manage the development & improvement of manufacturing processes using proven development and project management methods. He/she will strategically gather process knowledge through experiments and analysis and transform into manufacturing specifications and align with Swiss based R&D to allow for an optimal synergy between product and process.
He/ she will guide & perform New Product Introduction activities and/ or guide them.

Within the production plant of Datamars (Thailand), the candidate will work in the engineering department.
He/she will perform & manage the development & improvement of manufacturing processes using proven development and project management methods. He/ she will guide & perform New Product Introduction activities and/ or guide them.
Main Duties :
- Create feasibility studies, business cases and project plans
- Project management of Time, Scope and Budget for Process Development, New Product Implementation and Continuous improvement projects (team 2-3 engineers)
- Define & improve complex assembly processes using process analysis, experiments and calculation
- Specification, design and qualification of industrial equipment, tooling and jigs
- Realize manufacturing specifications to allow optimal product development and NPI
- Organize and coach the validation of new product or new process
- Monitor and analyse the process capability and yield during trial run or validation
- Provide Process & Product validation reports
- Contribute in Product Development projects from Feasibility to Production release
- Controlled outsourcing of engineering activities when necessary
- Initiate and take part in design reviews and brainstorm sessions with Swiss based R&D department
Requirements :
- MSc in Electrical, Mechanical or Production Engineering or equal level through work experience
- At least 3 years of manufacturing process improvement and/ or development
- At least 4 years of experience in manufacturing environment
- Radio frequency design or manufacturing knowledge is an advantage
- Statistical Process Control, Lean, OEE knowledge and experience
- Project Management experience using proven methodology
- Experience in industrial automation is a plus
- Methodical and systematical work attitude
- Excellent English written and spoken
- RFID experience is a plus
