Our client is a sourcing arm of a leading UK retailer.
Senior Technical Manager (Apparel) - Cambodia
Responsibilities
- Be the key contact with the factories and accountable for issues in compliance, health and safety, and quality control, for SE Asia productions
- Develop and lead regional technical team members for SE Asian countries
- Develop improvement process and train relevant parties to implement
- strategies according to company specific and legislative requirements
- Support sustainable initiatives and work with UK head office to drive supply base to develop Energy Saving program across all categories
Requirements
- Graduate in garment manufacturing or textile technology, with QA garment experience (e.g. factory operations, assessments, audit, approval processes and etc) in buying office/ factory environment would be an advantage
- At least 10 years of experience in garment QA, technical and production, and familiar with European / UK market
- Familiar with garment productions in Cambodia and Vietnam
- Good communication & interpersonal skills, must demonstrate good professional skills like attention to detail, organizational skills, supervisory skills and time management
- Good analyzing skills and problem solving skills
- Fluent in spoken and written English
- Proficient in MS office including Excel
- Hands-on knowledge on SEDEX and EQOS system would be advantage
